Job description This role is primarily responsible for providing first‑level end‑user support, network security, hardware infrastructure, supporting and enhancing Microsoft 365 and Power Automate workflows, and assisting in maintaining a strong cybersecurity posture. The MIS Executive will take ownership of user awareness initiatives, particularly in cybersecurity training. With a strong interest in Microsoft 365 technologies, the role contributes to continuous improvement of IT services, helpdesk system, supports secure and efficient business operations, and helps ensure technology investments deliver tangible value to the organization. Responsibilities: Provide first-level end-user computing support for hardware, fixed line phones, mobile devices, printing and peripheral equipment. Attend to user issues proactively, deliver timely resolution, and ensure minimal disruption to daily business operations. Act as the primary point of contact for the maintenance and operational support of security camera systems and door access control systems. Coordinate with vendors to ensure system availability, security compliance, and timely issue resolution. Demonstrate strong interest in Microsoft 365 technologies by actively learning, adopting, and improving the use of modern workplace applications, including Copilot and AI-driven agents, to drive productivity and enhance user experience. Assist in hardening Microsoft 365 security configurations, including Purview, Intune, and Defender. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to implement best practices, security policies, and continuous improvements aligned with cybersecurity standards. Manage Active Directory user and computer objects, including account provisioning, deprovisioning, access control, and hardware inventory accuracy. Collaborate with vendor to tailor and deploy cybersecurity awareness programs for end users by leveraging security awareness training software. Such as phishing simulations, and learning campaigns to improve user awareness, and reduce human-related cybersecurity risks. Serve as the main administrator for the IT helpdesk system, SharePoint sites, and Power Automate workflows. Maintain system accuracy, usability, and effectiveness to support IT service delivery and process automation. Assist in troubleshooting and supporting server and network-related issues, including firewalls, security appliances, SOC tools, email security solutions, IPS, and wireless network infrastructure, working closely with MIS team and vendors when required. Be an active member of the cybersecurity team by supporting the deployment of preventive security measures and participating as a key response team member during security incidents, contributing to timely containment, recovery, and continuous improvement. Requirements: Qualifications: Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Networking, or a related discipline. Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience supporting system integration and IT operations in a medium-sized organization (approximately 50 users or more). Proven exposure to end-to-end IT support across infrastructure, applications, and security domains, with increasing levels of responsibility. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft cloud technologies, including Microsoft 365, Azure, Purview, Copilot, Power Automate, and SharePoint sites. Assisting the MIS Manager to administer, secure, and enhance modern workplace solutions, working closely with technology vendors to implement best practices, resolve issues, and continuously improve productivity and governance. Hands-on experience in supporting complex server and network environments, including next-generation firewalls, email security appliances, network segmentation, SIEM platforms, and intrusion prevention systems. Ability to assist the IT Manager in coordinating with vendors and security partners for implementation, tuning, incident resolution, and ongoing security posture improvement. Hands-on experience in deploying and managing cybersecurity awareness training software with vendor support. Solution-focused and user-focused, with analytical mindset to diagnose and resolve issues effectively. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. Clear and concise communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with and support end-users, stakeholders, and technical teams.
