Business System Analyst

Reports To (If any) Service Delivery Manager Job Overview Weare looking for an experienced Business Systems Analyst to support the implementation and enhancement of Core Banking Current Account & Savings Account (CASA) solutions. Youwill work closely with business users, technology teams, solution architects and vendors to analyze business requirements, design functional solutions, support system implementation, and ensure successful project delivery. Responsibilities and Duties Business and Requirements Analysis Gather, analyze and document business andsystem requirements. Conduct workshops and stakeholder discussions to understand business needs. Produce functional specifications, process flows, user stories and use cases. Analyze impacts, identify risks and recommend suitable solutions. CASA & Core Banking Support CASA and deposit-related banking processes including: - Account onboarding, opening, maintenance and closure - Deposit, withdrawal, transfer and payment processing - Interest, fees and overdraft management - Account enquiries, statements and notifications - General Ledger (GL) postings and reconciliation - Regulatory and operational reporting Solution Delivery Work with developers, architects and vendors to ensure solutions meet business requirements. Support system configuration, Oracle FLEXCUBE parameterization, data mapping and interface design. Analyze change requests and assess business impact. Testing and Implementation Prepare and review SIT/UAT test scenarios and test cases. Support defect resolution, data validation, migration and reconciliation. Assist in cutover planning, production deployment and post-go-live support. Stakeholder Management Collaborate with business users, operations, finance, compliance, technology teams and external vendors. Track requirements, risks, issues and project progress. Facilitate discussions and obtain business sign-offs. Good to Have Core banking transformation or migration experience. Knowledge of SQL, APIs, data mapping and system interfaces. Experience with Agile, Waterfall or Hybrid delivery methodologies. Understanding of banking regulatory and compliance requirements. Experience working with regional or international banking stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, Banking, Finance or related discipline. Minimum 5 years' experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst within the banking industry. Experience in Core Banking , CASA , Deposit Systems , or Retail Banking implementation projects. Hands-on experience with Oracle FLEXCUBE . Strong knowledge of: - CASA products and operations - Deposit-related banking systems - Accounting& General Ledger (GL) Code Mapping - Transaction processing and banking interfaces Experience in: - Requirements gathering - Functional specification - Process mapping - System integration - Data migration - SIT& UAT - Production deployment Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation and stakeholder management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
