About this role

Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF) If you know how to build trust, open doors, grow a strong pipeline, and turn relationships into long-term support — without the hard sell— we should talk. At BCF, fundraising is not just about asking for money. Itis about building belief, earning trust, and creating meaningful partnerships that support early detection and the breast cancer community in Singapore. We are looking for an Assistant Director, Fundraising & Partnerships to lead a major fundraising and partnerships portfolio end-to-end. This role is for someone who can build and sustain relationships, spot opportunities early, move conversations forward, and convert interest into meaningful, long-term support. You do not need to come from a traditional charity fundraising background to succeed here. We are open to candidates from fundraising, private banking, wealth management, relationship management, enterprise sales, sponsorship, account management, partnerships, business development, or other roles where building trusted networks and managing a strong pipeline are central to success. What matters most is that you can represent BCF with credibility, build lasting relationships, work with discipline and integrity, and are motivated to do your best for a mission that matters. What you will do 1) Grow fundraising income and strategic partnerships Develop and drive an integrated fundraising and partnerships strategy aligned with BCF’s mission, annual priorities and long-term sustainability goals. Build, manage and grow a healthy pipeline across corporate partnerships, major donors, individual supporters, grants and foundations, campaigns, events and community fundraising. Identify, qualify and pursue new opportunities that strengthen income, reach and long-term strategic value. Re-engage past donors, historic partners and lapsed supporters through structured outreach and thoughtful stewardship. Work closely with the CEO, leadership and relevant sub-committees to shape prospect strategy, cultivation plans, asks and conversion. 2) Build and sustain high-value relationships Cultivate long-term relationships with corporates, donors, foundations, community organisations, connectors and ecosystem partners. Represent BCF confidently and professionally at meetings, pitches, events and stakeholder engagements. Build trust with senior stakeholders and high-capacity supporters through credibility, follow-through and strong relationship management. Understand partner and donor motivations, align opportunities well, and steward relationships beyond the first yes. Manage key accounts and partnerships with care, including clear next steps, deliverables, timelines, reporting and stewardship. 3) Keep the pipeline moving Maintain strong pipeline discipline across prospecting, cultivation, proposal development, conversion, stewardship and renewal. Use CRM and reporting tools to track opportunities, relationship progress, revenue pipeline, next steps and performance. Review pipeline health regularly, identify gaps early, and take action to improve momentum and conversion. Balance short-term wins with long-term relationship building. 4) Shape compelling proposals and support asks Lead the development of proposals, sponsorship decks, grant applications, donor materials and case-for-support content. Work with internal teams to translate BCF’s impact, priorities and programmes into clear, credible and compelling narratives. Support leadership on pitches, meetings, proposals and follow-up communications. Ensure fundraising communications are mission-aligned, ethically framed and evidence-based. 5) Use digital tools and AI to strengthen fundraising effectiveness Use CRM, donor data and digital tools to improve prospecting, segmentation, stewardship planning, pipeline visibility and relationship follow-through. Apply AI tools productively to support research, idea generation, first-draft proposals, briefing notes, donor profiling, meeting preparation, reporting and workflow efficiency, while ensuring strong human review and judgement. Use digital insights and data trends to identify patterns, prioritise opportunities and refine engagement strategies. Explore practical uses of automation and digital workflows to improve coordination, reduce manual work and strengthen consistency across the portfolio. Evaluate new tools and digital approaches with care, and recommend what to adopt, improve or stop based on usefulness, risk and fit for BCF. 6) Drive cros…
