Pilling Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities of a Piling Site Engineer Plan and coordinate daily piling activities in accordance with the project schedule. Supervise piling operations, including bored piles, driven piles, sheet piles, diaphragm walls, or other foundation works. Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with approved drawings, method statements, and project specifications. Coordinate with the Project Manager, Site Supervisor, subcontractors, consultants, and clients to ensure smooth site operations. Monitor work progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports. Ensure compliance with workplace safety and health (WSH) regulations, environmental requirements, and company safety procedures. Conduct site inspections and identify potential safety hazards, implementing corrective actions where necessary. Verify pile locations, levels, alignment, and dimensions before and during construction. Monitor piling equipment performance and coordinate maintenance or repairs when required. Inspect materials delivered to the site and ensure they meet project specifications. Ensure quality control by conducting inspections, witness tests, and maintaining quality records. Coordinate with surveyors for setting out and checking pile positions and levels. Maintain accurate site records, including daily work reports, equipment utilization, manpower records, and inspection reports. Key Competencies Strong knowledge of piling and foundation engineering. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Requirements: · Minimum 7 years’ piling civil site experience · Experience in LTA project will be an added advantage · Able to work under fast paced environment · Degree in Civil Engineering
