Summary: The M&E Engineer will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and supervision of mechanical and electrical works on-site, ensuring all installations meet design, quality, safety, and statutory standards. The role involves close collaboration with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors to deliver M&E systems effectively and efficiently. Responsibilities: Review M&E designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure constructability and compliance with project requirements. Supervise and coordinate on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of M&E systems, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, and building automation systems. Monitor progress of M&E works, identify potential issues, and implement corrective measures. Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve technical and design issues. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and statutory requirements. Assist in preparing work schedules, resource allocation plans, and progress reports. Conduct inspections, quality audits, and testing of M&E systems. Maintain proper documentation, including as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and commissioning records. Requirements: Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering. Minimum 4 years of relevant M&E experience in construction, preferably with A1 Main Contractors. Knowledge of M&E systems design, installation, testing, and commissioning. Familiarity with local codes, standards, and statutory requirements. Experience with project management and BIM/M&E coordination is an advantage.
