Job Scope: Targeted Morning Operations (0730–0830): Conduct strategic perimeter patrols covering designated off-school sectors (e.g., near Buzz Minimart and the polyclinics) to project an authoritative organizational presence, deter early-morning loitering, and get students to make their way to school. Targeted Afternoon Operations (1430–1600): Execute systematic post-dismissal community patrols within the school precinct to monitor student conduct. Address behaviours against school rules; bring non-compliant students back to school for official SMT follow-up. Recess and Lunch Duty: Maintain a highly visible supervisory presence in the canteen to ensure students eat in an orderly manner and clean up tables after they are done. Unstructured play Monitoring: Manage safety and cleanliness within unstructured play zones (Hockey Pitch and Level 1 of Indoor Sports Hall/ISH). Ensure students exit these zones exactly 5 minutes before the bell rings. Campus Walkabouts: Perform periodic, staggered patrols of the school infrastructure to project presence and ensure students do not abuse school property. In-School Suspension & Fact-Finding: Assist the student management team in handling serious misconduct, behavioural deviations, classroom disruptions, and recalcitrant late-comers. Support student management initiatives in working with recalcitrant late comers as well as “just in time to school” students. - Getting recalcitrant latecomers to do service to the school - Getting Just In time students to stay back after school to read Reflection Room Management: Manage students undergoing disciplinary isolation or fact-finding, ensuring they complete academic packages or reflection tasks given by the SMT. Chaperone them for their scheduled segregated recess and lunch intervals. Restorative Consequence Monitoring: Supervise students performing school service as a disciplinary consequence to ensure accountability. External Service Liaison: Accompany SMT teachers to bring students outside of school for community service obligations Requirements: Calm, empathetic, and observant presence Able to create a safe and non-judgmental environment where students feel supported. Firm but fair Able to set clear boundaries and expectations while maintaining a warm and respectful tone.
