About the Role The Charging Operations Manager oversees the deployment, operation, maintenance, and compliance of the company's EV charging network across Singapore. The role is responsible for ensuring charger reliability, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction while supporting the company's EV charging business growth. The position works closely with internal departments, external contractors, site owners, utility providers, government agencies, and headquarters teams to ensure charging infrastructure is deployed and operated efficiently in accordance with Singapore's EV charging regulations and EVCO licence requirements. Key Responsibilities Oversee the operation and maintenance of the EV charging network to achieve charger uptime and service level targets. Lead the deployment and commissioning of new charging stations, coordinating with site owners, contractors, and utility providers. Establish and monitor operational KPIs including charger availability, utilization, maintenance performance, and customer satisfaction. Manage maintenance vendors and service providers to ensure timely fault rectification and preventive maintenance activities. Ensure compliance with EVCO licence conditions, charger registration requirements, and applicable regulatory obligations. Support cybersecurity governance, operational risk management, and incident response activities relating to charging infrastructure. Develop operational processes, policies, and reporting frameworks to support network expansion. Coordinate with customer service teams to investigate and resolve charging incidents and customer complaints. Monitor operational budgets, maintenance costs, and network performance. Work closely with HQ and cross-functional teams on charging network planning, system integration, and business initiatives. Any other work related to charger and charging business as directed by his superiors. Requirements Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Facilities Management, Business, or a related discipline. Preferred 5–8 years of experience in EV charging, utilities, infrastructure operations, facilities management, or related industries. Experience managing vendors, contractors, and infrastructure projects. Knowledge of EV charging technologies, charging network operations, and charger management systems. Understanding of Singapore EV charging regulations and EVCO licensing requirements is advantageous. Familiarity with cybersecurity, operational risk management, and compliance frameworks. Strong analytical, project management, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
