Backend Software Engineer Graduate (Graph Neural Network System, Cloud Infrastructure) - 2026 Start (PhD)

Team Introduction The Infrastructure NoSQL team based in Singapore caters to the needs of TikTok and its affiliated mid-platforms and business lines. The team operates on a vast scale, managing tens of thousands of servers and handling data that exceeds the petabyte level. The team has developed its own distributed KV/caching systems, globally distributed table storage systems, and large-scale graph database products. Utilizing cutting-edge hardware and software stack technology, they are dedicated to advancing the next generation of products continually. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis - we encourage you to apply early. - Design and optimize graph foundation models for risk control, enhance model interpretability, and drive deployment in real-world business scenarios; - Build graph foundation models for recommendation, integrating LLMs with graph algorithms to improve performance in search, recommendation, and advertising; - Explore fusion paradigms between graph information and LLMs, and participate in research on modeling and transferability of Graph Foundation Models (GFM). Minimum Qualifications - Final-year PhD candidate in Computer Science, Software Development, or a related technical discipline. - Research experience in one or more of the following fields: GE/GNN systems, LLM, and/or GFM. - Proficiency in one or several mainstream programming languages, including C/C++, Python, Go (if coding capabilities are required) Preferred Qualifications - Strong publications record in top conferences or journals (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, CVPR, etc) and journals (e.g., TPAMI, JMLR). - Strong foundation in algorithms, good engineering implementation skills, and a collaborative team mindset.
