About the Team As the core nerve center of data centers, the power distribution system serves as the power source supporting full-site operation, while ELV control acts as the neural hub ensuring intelligent operation. The Electrical Team takes full responsibility for the technical architecture, management, and continuous innovation of both power supply and ELV control systems throughout the entire lifecycle of data centers. With our professional technical capabilities, we develop highly reliable, secure, efficient, stable, green and low-carbon power supply, distribution and intelligent control infrastructure for data centers worldwide, enabling rapid business rollout and sustained, stable operation. Key Responsibilities 1. Take charge of the electrical design, as well as the review and evaluation of technical solutions for new-build and renovated data centers. In accordance with business requirements, guide design institutes to complete architectural layout, scheme and construction drawing design by integrating the architecture and technical characteristics of various systems including medium & low voltage power systems, UPS systems, diesel generator systems, etc. 2. Conduct electrical design and technical management for external parties (cooperating design institutes, etc.) and internal departments (other collaborating teams, etc.); review construction drawings and special technical proposals submitted by suppliers and exercise full quality control. 3. Compile discipline-specific documents including design briefs, drawing review checklists & key review points, construction technical specifications and other relevant materials. 4. Manage quality control of electrical equipment for data center infrastructure, including summarizing defects identified during factory acceptance tests of equipment and following up on rectification implementation. 5. Provide on-site electrical design technical support throughout project construction, review design alterations, and coordinate acceptance of all electrical-related works and equipment across all project phases. 6. Deliver discipline-specific technical support during the operational phase of projects, organize technical reviews with the operation team, and update design technical specifications accordingly. 7. Support troubleshooting of in-service equipment, covering root cause analysis, formulation of improvement plans, and follow-up to ensure full implementation of corrective measures. Minimum Qualifications 1. Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Electrical Engineering and Automation or related disciplines; with at least 5 years of experience in electrical technical design for data centers. 2. Have led and participated in electrical system design of data center projects as a project leader or discipline lead. 3. Proficient in the design, type selection and key performance optimization of equipment including generator, power distribution cabinets, transformers, UPS, batteries, PDUs, etc. 4. Familiar with industry specifications for electrical disciplines applicable to data centers, as well as cross-discipline coordination procedures throughout the whole project design cycle. 5. Strong knowledge of relevant standards for the design and testing of power distribution products, with the ability to develop test plans, oversee test execution, analyze test results, and a solid understanding of the manufacturing processes of power distribution equipment. 6. Have a clear grasp of construction costs, mainstream core technologies and operation models of electrical disciplines; able to provide design support for engineering, bidding and procurement teams, and understand operation & maintenance requirements of electrical systems. 7. Possess self-motivation and learning ability, with outstanding communication, organization, coordination and project delivery capabilities. Preferred Qualification - Experience working with third-party IDC operators is highly preferred.
