Accountant

Job Summary Prepare and manage comprehensive financial reports, bookkeeping, tax compliance, and budgeting activities to support organizational financial health and statutory adherence. Responsibilities Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements monthly, quarterly, and yearly to support informed decision-making. Manage accounts payable and receivable, process payroll, and reconcile balance sheets to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Handle tax preparation and ensure compliance with statutory accounting standards and local tax regulations. Plan and coordinate annual audits with external auditors to maintain financial transparency and regulatory compliance. Participate in budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize cash flow management. Preferred competencies and qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CA are highly preferred. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and VLookups. Experience using accounting software Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, ethical standards, and effective communication skills to present financial data clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
