BIM Coordinator

Company Overview CHAN RONG FEN BUILDING CONSTRUCTION PTE LTD began as a general works contractor in 2000. It now serves as main contractor for small to medium projects, providing project management and coordinating specialist trades for industrial and commercial construction. Job Summary Create and modify architectural, structural, and M&E shop drawings using AutoCAD and BIM software to support construction projects. Collaborate with site and BIM teams to ensure accurate, timely delivery of drawings for project execution. Responsibilities Create and modify architectural and structural shop drawings using files exported from Tender, Construction Drawings, and Revit to support project requirements Modify site drawings using Revit-exported files to reflect project updates and site conditions Adjust M&E (CSD) drawings in CAD software based on Revit files to ensure accurate mechanical and electrical layouts Collaborate effectively with site teams and BIM members to coordinate drawing requirements and resolve issues Manage priorities and meet deadlines to deliver drawings on schedule for construction progress Apply knowledge of Autodesk CAD and BIM software/tools to produce precise and compliant drawings Work independently and proactively to handle multiple tasks with a positive, solution-oriented attitude Required competencies and certifications Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating and adjusting construction drawings Basic knowledge of Autodesk Revit and Navisworks to work with BIM models and exported files Minimum Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent to ensure technical understanding of construction principles At least 2 years of hands-on experience in BIM Modelling work to produce and manage digital construction models Minimum 2 years of experience working on construction projects, preferably with HDB or similar, to understand project standards and requirements Preferred competencies and qualifications Strong collaboration and communication skills to facilitate effective teamwork with site and BIM teams Ability to work under deadlines and manage priorities effectively to maintain project timelines Proactive, independent work style with ability to multi-task and maintain a positive attitude
