Are you passionate about transforming complex banking operations through automation, AI, and process innovation? We're looking for an experienced Business Transformation Lead to partner with Product Owners, Strategy teams, Operations, and Technology to drive large-scale change across our Wholesale Banking business. This is a highly visible role where you'll influence senior stakeholders, lead strategic initiatives, and redesign business processes that shape the future of client onboarding and transaction banking. RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead end-to-end business transformation initiatives, combining Business Analysis and Project Management responsibilities. Partner closely with Product Owners, Strategic Business Leaders, Technology, and Operations to translate business strategy into practical solutions. Analyse current ("as-is") processes and design future ("to-be") operating models, focusing on automation and AI-enabled transformation. Drive process redesign and continuous improvement across Wholesale Banking operations. Gather, document, and manage detailed business and functional requirements. Facilitate workshops, align complex cross-functional stakeholders, and build consensus across a matrix organisation. Prepare executive-level presentations and communicate recommendations confidently to senior leadership. Work across Agile and Waterfall delivery environments to ensure successful execution. Support and guide junior Business Analysts while remaining a hands-on individual contributor. Champion innovation by identifying opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve operational efficiency and client experience. REQUIREMENTS: 15+ years of Business Analysis, Business Transformation, or Project Management experience within Wholesale Banking or Financial Services. Experience in Client Onboarding nice to have. Proven track record of transforming manual operational processes into automated, digital solutions. Experience delivering AI or automation initiatives, particularly within the past 2–4 years. Strong Business Analysis skills, including requirements gathering, process mapping, documentation, and business case development. Experience managing complex projects involving multiple business and technology stakeholders. Excellent stakeholder management skills within highly matrixed organisations. Outstanding presentation and storytelling skills, with the ability to prepare detailed PowerPoint presentations and present confidently to senior executives. Comfortable facilitating workshops and driving decision-making across diverse stakeholder groups. Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments. Consulting background (Big Four or management consulting experience is highly regarded). Experience leading business process redesign or operational excellence initiatives. Exposure to Product Management or working closely with Product Owners. Knowledge of AI-driven business transformation and innovation programmes.
