Calibration Technician

Job Summary You will perform calibration and preventive maintenance on laboratory equipment, maintain accurate documentation, troubleshoot malfunctions, coordinate repairs, and manage inventory to ensure reliable laboratory operations. Responsibilities Calibrate laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable test results Maintain clear and concise documentation for the calibration program and issue calibration reports and certificates Diagnose equipment malfunctions by interpreting technical drawings, maintenance manuals, and parts breakdown diagrams Disassemble equipment to repair or replace defective parts promptly and accurately Perform preventive maintenance on all testing and measuring equipment to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan Check inventory levels and coordinate purchase orders to maintain adequate supplies for laboratory operations Complete additional related duties and assignments as required to support laboratory functions
