Therapy Assistant (Up To $2.5K/ Rehab Centre/West/5 Days)

Prepare clients, therapy equipment, and materials ahead of assessments or therapy sessions. Assist therapists in implementing prescribed exercises and therapy programs, including group-based activities. Conduct basic or routine group therapy sessions under the supervision or guidance of therapists or clinical associates. Provide support to therapists during client assessments and treatment sessions. Relay relevant information about therapy sessions to therapists or clinical associates. Offer assistance in specialized therapy areas or clinical programs as directed by therapists. Maintain and manage inventory of therapy equipment and supplies. Ensure therapy spaces are clean, organized, and safe for use. Support general housekeeping duties in therapy areas, including cleaning of equipment and activity spaces. Follow proper infection control protocols to ensure a hygienic environment. Perform basic administrative tasks, including data entry and documentation. Participate in ongoing training and learning opportunities to enhance the quality of client care. Monitor daily responsibilities of therapy assistants and provide supervision when required. Assist therapists in evaluating the performance of therapy assistants. Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by the reporting officer.
