Senior Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our Contract team. This role focuses on managing project costs, preparing tender and contract documents, conducting quantity take-offs, and supporting the project team in ensuring cost efficiency and smooth financial administration for construction projects. Work location: Dover area Key Responsibilities Prepare and manage measurements and cost estimates for construction projects, from initial calculations through to final accounts Prepare tender and contract documents, including Bills of Quantities Evaluate tenders from contractors and subcontractors, and negotiate where necessary Perform quantity take-offs and prepare cost estimates for project and tender submissions Review and interpret civil & structural (C&S), architectural, and mechanical & electrical (M&E) drawings Prepare contract documentation in accordance with relevant regulations and standards Conduct cost analysis and monitor project costs to ensure project objectives are achieved Assess progress payments and variation works for clients and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow Liaise with clients, management, and subcontractors, and monitor the progress of main and subcontract works Prepare and manageproject cash flow forecasts (S-curves) in accordance with the approvedconstruction programme. Track project progress and handle measurement and valuation of variations for interim payments and final accounts Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and procedures Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned Performother Quantity Surveying-relatedduties and provide support to project and site teams asrequired. Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience. Knowledge of both civil and architectural works is preferred. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Experience in building, HDB, or condominium projects, or projects of similar scale and complexity, will be an advantage.
