Quantity Surveyor

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team. This role focuses on managing project costs, preparing tender and contract documents, conducting quantity take-offs, and supporting the project team in ensuring cost efficiency and smooth financial administration for construction projects. Work location: Yishun area, near to Khatib MRT Key Responsibilities Prepare and manage measurements and cost estimates for construction projects, from initial calculations to final accounts. Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities. Evaluate tenders from contractors and subcontractors, and negotiate where necessary. Perform quantity take-offs and prepare cost estimates for projects and tender submissions. Review and interpret C&S, Architectural, and M&E drawings. Prepare contract documentation in accordance with relevant regulations and standards. Conduct cost analysis and monitor project costs to ensure project objectives are achieved. Assess payments and variation works for clients and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow. Liaise with clients, management, and subcontractors, and monitor the progress of main and sub-contract works. Track project progress and handle the measurement and valuation of variations for interim payments and final accounts. Ensure compliance with company policies, processes, and procedures. Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent. Minimum 2–3 years of relevant working experience. Knowledge of both civil and architectural works is preferred. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Experience in building, HDB, or condominium projects, or projects of similar scale, complexity, and nature, will be an advantage.
