Review project specifications and identify quality requirements for each work phase. Ensure that all construction, welding, coating, piping, or mechanical activities meet approved procedures. 2. Process Plant Project Experience (Added Advantage) Apply knowledge of process plant environments. Manage quality requirements for: Piping systems (spools, supports, hydrotesting) Pressure vessels and tanks Rotating equipment (pumps, compressors) Structural steel and platework Coordinate with process engineers and vendors on material traceability and corrosion protection. 3. Preparation & Implementation of Quality Documents Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) Develop ITPs identifying: Hold, witness, and review points Inspection frequency and acceptance criteria Responsible parties (contractor, client, third party) Update ITPs based on project changes or non-conformances. QA/QC Manuals Draft, revise, and maintain the project-specific QA/QC Manual. Ensure the manual aligns with ISO 9001 and client contractual requirements. Inspection Procedures 4. Knowledge of Quality Standards, Inspection Requirements & Site QC Practices Apply relevant standards (e.g., ASME, ASTM, API, AWS, ISO, BS). Perform or coordinate: Visual and dimensional inspections Positive material identification (PMI) Hydrostatic / pneumatic testing Torqueing and tensioning verification Enforce site QC practices: Hold point verification before proceeding to next work stage Red-line markups of as-built conditions Preservation and housekeeping checks 5. Technical Skills Prepare and issue: Inspection reports and test summaries Response to client quality queries (technical letters) Method statements and procedure reviews Attend and contribute to weekly quality meetings, daily toolbox talks, and pre-inspection meetings. 6. Coordination with Clients, Subcontractors & Site Teams With Clients: Notify in advance of hold/witness points. Accompany client inspectors during walkdowns and inspections. Resolve quality issues with client approval for deviations. With Subcontractors: Review their ITPs and quality records. Conduct subcontractor quality audits. Issue and track NCRs for subcontracted work. With Site Teams: Provide quality briefings to foremen and supervisors. Coordinate inspection schedules with construction teams to avoid delays. Support site engineers with material conformance and installation checks. 7.Work Location Jurong Island or Tuas south.
