Site Engineer

Responsibilities Monitor and supervise supervisors and workers to ensure compliance with quality procedures and workmanship standards on site Inspect and verify quality and quantity of subcontractors’ work to maintain project standards Resolve drawing discrepancies and technical issues by collaborating with the Technical team Prepare detailed method statements and work instructions to guide construction activities Coordinate site activities with SWC, subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments to ensure smooth operations Liaise with Consultants and the Technical Department on submissions related to structural works Plan site works including scheduling programs, construction methods, and forecasting equipment, material, and manpower needs Control usage and minimize wastage of resources on site Identify potential and actual problems affecting work schedules and recommend effective solutions to relevant teams Ensure site works meet high-quality standards and comply with safety requirements throughout the project Required competencies and certifications Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university Minimum 3 years of experience in building or civil infrastructure projects of similar scale and complexity
