Construction Manager (Viaduct Project)

ROLES& RESPONSIBILITIES Plan and manage all road construction activities to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Oversee road diversion and traffic management works, ensuring compliance with approved Traffic Management Plans (TMP) and authority requirements. Supervise road widening works, including earthworks, drainage, pavement, kerb, utility protection, and asphalt paving. Coordinate project schedules, manpower, machinery, and materials. Monitor work progress and ensure project milestones are achieved. Review construction drawings, method statements, and work procedures. Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, clients, and authorities. Attend site meetings and resolve technical or operational issues. Ensure smooth coordination between different construction trades and disciplines. Rectify quality issues and implement corrective actions when necessary. Coordinate with WSH personnel to mitigate site risks and hazards. Assist in procurement planning and subcontractor management. Maintain proper documentation for inspections, approvals, and project tracking. Control and manage project manpower productivity and resource allocation. Requirement Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field. Minimum 8–10 years of experience in civil or viaduct/infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge in bridge/viaduct construction methodology. Familiar with Singapore construction regulations and LTA requirements. Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
