Assistant Contracts Manager

Responsibilities · Prepare and analyze cost comparison · Obtaining quotations, liaising and negotiate with sub-contractors and suppliers · Responsible for measuring quantities and taking off · Works closely with the Project Manager, Construction Manager, Client / Client Representatives and Sub-Contractors to accurately arrive with progress claims and variation claims. · Deals with contractual issues between main contractor and client, and those between main contractor and sub-contractors · Ensures progressive claims are promptly put up to the client through accurate measurement of actual works accomplished · Lead the QS team to prepare Variation Orders, claims, final accounts, settlement and sub-contractor payments · All other Contract Management related job Job Requirements: · Degree / Diploma in Building or its equivalent · 6-8 years and above experience as Contract Manager / Senior QS in main-con companies · Proven ability in contract negotiation, contract administration & leadership of a team · Preferable experiences in Residential related projects · Able to work independently, be meticulous, analytical with excellent problem-solving skills, proactive, a good team player & able to meet tight deadlines · 5 Days work week
