About this role

Responsibilities Create detailed technical drawings, blueprints, or schematics for architectural, electrical, mechanical, solar photovoltaic systems, and structural elements based on specifications, sketches, or rough drafts. Collaborate with project engineers, architects, and designers to incorporate design changes and update drawings accurately. Verify measurements, dimensions, and specifications to ensure precision and compliance with standards and guidelines. Coordinate with architects, project engineers, and team members to ensure design specifications meet project requirements. Participate in meetings with contractors, architects, project engineers, and team members to contribute to the design process. Organize drawings and related documentation systematically for easy retrieval and reference. Adhere to industry standards and address necessary requirements in all drawings and designs. Engage in professional training to enhance skills and stay current with the latest tools and techniques in the field. Assist in updating Standard Operating Procedures, Safe Work Procedures, and other work-related procedures in line with industry, safety, and regulatory requirements. Support administrative tasks and other duties as required. Required competencies and certifications Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or equivalent with at least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in solar photovoltaic system design including mounting structure design and installation. Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or other specialized software to translate concepts into detailed and concise drawings. Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills. Willingness to work beyond normal working hours as required. Willingness to work within Ubi Crescent vicinity. Ability to commence work on short notice.
