Assistant Account Sales Manager

Job Description Nurturing good client relationships and providing solutions that align with business objectives. Develop and manage accounts plans. Identifying new business opportunities, negotiating contracts, and develop sales strategies to increase revenue. Forecast sales and maintain accurate CRM records. Cross-functional collaboration to exceed sales targets and improve customer retention. Maintaining awareness of industry trends, competitor activities, raw material pricing and market conditions to provide strategic insights. Keep track on payment with timely submission of invoices and follow up with monthly SOA to clients. Liaise with Operations Department on stock inventory and delivery status. Job Requirements Minimum Diploma in any discipline Minimum 5 years of work experience in marine/ shipping/ coating/ shipyard industry Possession of a NACE Level 2 certification would be an added advantage Proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Words CRM & ERP software proficiency (e.g. Microsoft Dynamic NAV) Willing to travel Possession of own vehicle Ability to work in a hands-on and operational environment (learning curves expected) Competencies Strong sales & negotiation skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Analytical skills to track account performance and growth opportunities Team-oriented mindset Problem-solving and adaptability to respond to client needs and market changes Willingness to learn and adapt
