Facilities Manager

Building Maintenance: Schedule and oversee routine preventative maintenance for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural systems to minimize equipment downtime. Budget & Financials: Create and manage facility budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-reduction strategies regarding utility consumption and operations. Vendor Management: Source, negotiate, and monitor contracts with external suppliers and service providers for janitorial, security, and maintenance services. Safety & Compliance: Conduct regular safety audits and enforce health, fire, and environmental regulations. Develop comprehensive emergency response plans. Space Planning: Coordinate office relocations, renovations, and workspace reconfigurations to maximize spatial efficiency. Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and supervise maintenance and administrative staff. - Bachelor's degree in facility management, engineering, or a related field - 7+ years of experience in facility management or a related field - Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance, and repair - Experience managing budgets and expenses - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Strong leadership and management skills - Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment - Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills - Knowledge of safety regulations and standards
