About this role
Position Overview Responsible on the design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and client acceptance activities for ELV systems on large-scale projects. Deliver technically compliant ELV solutions for industrial facilities, commercial buildings, and advanced technology projects. Key Responsibilities Responsible on the ELV system design throughout the project lifecycle. Design control systems, instrumentation systems, cabling and cable support systems. Design Public Address, Access Control, CCTV, Gas Detection and Fire Alarm systems. Design IT cabling and structured data network systems. Develop P&IDs, Instrument and I/O Lists, Sequence of Operations, Logic Diagrams and Cause & Effect Matrices. Manage ELV packages, project milestones and multidisciplinary coordination. Perform technical evaluations of vendor submissions and approve shop drawings. Prepare testing and commissioning procedures and manage subcontractors. ·Guide engineers and designers in preparing cable routing plans, schedules and control system schematics. Technical Scope of Work Control Systems (DDC, PLC and DCS). SCADA Systems. Building Automation Management Systems (BMS/BAS). Instrumentation engineering and application selection. Fire Alarm, Security, CCTV, Access Control and Gas Detection Systems. IT Data Networks and Structured Cabling Systems. Tendering, estimating, construction management and commissioning activities. Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Instrumentation and Controls Engineering or related discipline. Diploma holders should possess an additional 2 to 3 years of relevant experience or equivalent professional certifications. Experience Requirements Minimum 8 to 15 years of experience in design and in construction management Experience in design, installation, programming and commissioning of process and building control systems. Experience in instrumentation systems engineering and construction management. Experience in Advanced Technology Facilities, Life Sciences & Chemicals, Energy & Environment Technologies, High-Tech Infrastructure and Process Automation projects. Technical Competencies Extensive knowledge of DDC,PLC, DCS, SCADA and Building Automation Systems. Strong understanding of ELV systems design, implementation and commissioning. Knowledge of local codes of practice and international standards for design implementation. Extensive local construction knowledge.
