Known for their deep-rooted relationship networks with state-owned enterprises, oil majors, and global shipowners, they are looking to expand their deep-sea dirty tanker desk in Singapore. This position is an exclusive mandate managed via COENS Energy. Job Description We are seeking an experienced and driven Tanker Shipbroker specializing in Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCC) to join a high-performing team. The successful candidate will leverage an established network to originate, negotiate, and execute spot fixtures, time charters, and Contracts of Affreightment (COAs) across principal global routes. Key Responsibilities Negotiate and conclude spot and time-charter fixtures for VLCCs, ensuring optimal commercial terms for principals. Maintain and expand deep-rooted relationships with global oil majors, traders, state-owned entities, and prominent shipowners. Monitor and analyze global crude flows, bunker prices, and freight indices to provide actionable, data-driven insights to clients. Oversee operations and post-fixture processes, collaborating closely with the operations team to ensure seamless voyage execution and minimize demurrage/claims disputes. Requirements Minimum of 5–8 years of active shipbroking experience, with a proven and verifiable track record specifically on a VLCC or Dirty Tanker desk . Possess an active, transferable network of charterers, owners, and operators in the crude oil shipping sector. Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
