Key Responsibilities · Lead and support the implementation, and commissioning of facilities projects including production equipment installations, factory expansion, renovation works, and utility upgrades, ensuring delivery within approved budget, quality and project schedules. · Manage the operation, reliability, and maintenance of critical Mechanical &Electrical (M&E) systems, including HVAC/ACMV, Air Handling Units (AHU),chillers, cooling towers, air compressors, electrical distribution systems, plumbing, lighting, fire protection systems, and associated building services to achieve maximum operational availability. · Carryout the preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies to optimise equipment reliability, minimise downtime, and extend asset lifecycles. · Coordinate and supervise external contractors and service providers responsible for facilities support services, including housekeeping, landscaping, pest management, water treatment, waste management, security, and specialised maintenance works, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and service standards. · Monitor utility consumption including electricity, water, compressed air, and chilled water systems, analyse operational trends, identify abnormalities, and recommend energy conservation measures to improve operational efficiency and reduce operating costs. · Prepare purchase requisitions, contractor assessments, budget forecasts, and expenditure tracking to support capital projects and operational requirements. · Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations, Fire Safety requirements, environmental legislation, ISO management systems, and company engineering standards by conducting regular inspections, audits, risk assessments, and corrective action programmes. · Promote a strong safety, quality, and continuous learning culture by organising technical training, safety awareness programmes, equipment competency development, and periodic refresher training for employees and contractors. · Perform any other engineering, facilities, project maintenance, or operational duties as assigned by the immediate superior or management, supporting business priorities and organizational objectives as required. Job Requirements · Diploma/ITENITEC in Engineering, Facilities Management, Building Services, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related engineering discipline. · Minimum 8–10 years of progressively responsible experience in Facilities Engineering, Building Services, Manufacturing, Industrial Operations, or Engineering Project Management. · Demonstrated experience in facilities maintenance, M&E systems, utilities management, capital projects, contractor management, and plant infrastructure support. · Good technical knowledge of HVAC, ACMV, chilled water systems, compressed air systems, electrical distribution, plumbing, fire protection systems, Building works. · Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, planning, organisational, andstakeholder management skills. · Self-motivated, resourceful, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively while working independently or leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
