Banking Credit & Loan Sales Associate

Location: Singapore Employment Type: Full-time / Perm Client: Banking & Financial Services Department: Retail Banking – Consumer Lending Job Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Credit & Loan Sales Associate to join our retail banking team. You will be responsible for promoting and cross-selling a suite of unsecured credit products such as personal loans, credit lines, and credit cards to customers through various channels. This role involves proactive outreach, needs-based selling, and ensuring compliance with the bank’s regulatory and service standards. Key Responsibilities: Acquire new customers and generate sales for personal loan and credit card products through direct sales, telesales, roadshows, or digital platforms Conduct needs-based financial assessments to recommend suitable loan solutions to customers Explain product features, loan terms, and repayment schedules clearly and professionally Support customers in the application process, including submission of documentation and credit evaluation Meet monthly individual and team sales targets Maintain a high level of customer service and relationship management Ensure compliance with MAS regulations, internal policies, and fair lending practices Participate in promotional activities and marketing campaigns organized by the bank Requirements: Minimum GCE ‘A’ Level, Diploma, or Degree in any discipline Prior experience in sales, preferably in banking, insurance, or financial services is an advantage Good communication and interpersonal skills Sales-driven with strong motivation to achieve performance targets Ability to handle rejection and maintain resilience Bilingual in English and a second language is advantageous (to liaise with a diverse customer base) CMFAS certifications (e.g., M5, M9, M9A) will be a plus, but not mandatory for unsecured lending products Benefits: Competitive basic salary with high commission potential Structured training and mentorship Opportunities for career advan…
