Core Trading Pipeline Market Data Ingestion → Strategy Execution → Risk Checks → Order Management (OMS) → Order Routing → Trading Gateway → Exchange Connectivity → Monitoring & Alerting Responsibilities Own the architecture design, core module development, and continuous optimization of low-latency quantitative trading systems, spanning the full pipeline: market data, execution, risk checks, OMS, routing, gateways, and monitoring Design and develop risk systems: real-time risk, pre-trade risk, trading limits, anomaly detection, circuit breakers Deep performance optimization to push latency to the limit: networking, memory management, concurrency models, GC/lock contention Work closely with quant researchers and traders to efficiently translate strategy requirements into production Contribute to system reliability: high-availability architecture, disaster recovery, stress testing, replay, and troubleshooting Requirements 5-8 years of backend systems development experience; background in trading systems, quant trading, matching engines, market data systems, or risk systems preferred Proficient in at least one of: Java / Kotlin / Scala / Rust / C++ Familiar with high-performance, low-latency systems development: concurrency, network programming, memory models, performance tuning Familiar with common trading system pipelines: market data processing, order management, trade execution, risk checks, trade confirmations Nice to Have Experience with digital assets, equities, futures, FX, market making, or high-frequency trading systems Low-latency networking experience: kernel bypass, DPDK, RDMA, FIX protocol JVM/C++/Rust performance tuning, lock-free programming, CPU cache, NUMA optimization Experience building large-scale distributed systems, high-availability architecture, or real-time data processing systems Team Culture Flat structure, reporting directly to the CTO, with no rigid hierarchy, with strong emphasis on ownership and fast delivery.
