About this role
The Senior Mechanical Engineer is responsible for designing and analyzing mechanical systems, equipment, and packaging, including conducting feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs. This role also involves directing support personnel in design preparation, testing, prototype fabrication, and providing design information for packaging documentation.
Essential requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline, a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience including two full product development cycles. Candidates must have experience with metal and plastic parts fabrication methods and possess working knowledge of Mechanical CAD, 3D modeling (preferably Creo 4 or IDEAS), DFM/DFA concepts, and GD&T.
