Resident Engineer

RE (C&S) Job Roles &Responsibilities: Supervise all site construction works and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and statutory requirements. Ensure all site activities comply with BCA regulations, statutory requirements, and project quality standards Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and authorities on technical and construction matters. Conduct site inspections and witness testing of materials and completed works. Monitor construction quality, progress, safety, and environmental compliance. Review construction submissions including shop drawings, method statements, and material approvals. Prepare site reports, maintain project documentation, and attend coordination meetings. Assist the Superintending Officer in contract administration and project delivery. Job Requirements: Accredited with IES University degree in Civil/Structural Engineering recognized for PE registration under PE Act or universities that are specified by the Commissioner of Building Control. At least 5 years of site supervision experience on building projects. Good understanding of Singapore construction regulations and quality management. Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills. Candidate with experience in jack-in piling and post-tensioned structures will have an advantage.
