About this role

THIS IS A 2-YEAR RENEWABLE/ CONVERTIBLE CONTRACT ROLE. Role Overview Lead and drive strategic public engagement and integrated marketing communications initiatives to enhance brand visibility, audience engagement, and visitor experience. Responsible for maintaining engagement on digital platforms, content and marketing strategy, media relations, customer engagement, and the conceptualisation and production of marketing collaterals and assets. Key Responsibilities 1. Art Direction, Design, and Creative Production Lead the conceptualisation, art direction, design, and production of print and digital marketing materials across programmes and centre-wide campaigns: Programmes collaterals and giveaways such as self-guided trail, craft, and enamel pins etc. Programme publicity collaterals such as posters, airport stands, TV screen, web banners, EDMs, social media adaptations or any other supporting artwork/format Support in the overseeing of centre décor conceptualisation, design, and execution Responsibilities include: Develop creative concepts aligned with campaign objectives and brand identity Liaise with designers and production vendors to ensure quality and timely delivery Oversee fabrication and installation processes Ensure brand consistency across all physical and digital touchpoints 2. Social Media Strategy & Content Creation Develop and execute platform-specific content strategies across: Facebook Instagram TikTok LinkedIn Responsibilities include: Content ideation, copywriting, and campaign conceptualisation Manage the social media calendar for reporting purpose, ensuring consistent and timely posting across all platforms Creation of static and video content Supporting SDC’s engagement strategy with various stakeholders/partners 3. Digital Platforms & Website Management Manage and update the corporate website, including centre updates, disclaimers, and key announcements Maintain and update “Movies Now Showing” listings Create and manage programme and event landing pages Optimise web content for engagement and accuracy 4. Online Reputation & Community Management Monitor and track reviews on Google, TripAdvisor, and Facebook Respond to public reviews in a timely and brand-aligned manner Manage direct messages and comments across all social platforms 5. Media & Influencer Relations Liaise with media partners and micro-influencers for collaborations Track media mentions, influencer features, and public coverage 6. Internal Communications Develop and design internal SDC monthly newsletters Manage SDC bulletin wall content Coordinate and update centre signages to ensure timely and accurate messaging Liaise with external organisations/partners to explore and develop CSR collaboration opportunities Job Requirements & Preferred Skills: Qualifications & Experience Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in public engagement, marketing, communications, or related functions. Diploma or Degree in relevant disciplines, such as: o Media, Arts, or Design (e.g., Graphic Design, Content Creation) o Digital Media o Marketing & Communications o Event/Project Management, Arts Management, Cultural Studies, or related fields (advantageous) Technical & Professional Competencies Proficient in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, basic content production, and EDM creation. Working knowledge of graphic design and content creation tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or equivalent). Strong copywriting skills with the ability to craft clear, compelling, and audience-focused messaging. Experience in campaign execution, event marketing, and on-ground activation support is preferred. Core Attributes Creative thinker with strong initiative and keen attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Resourceful, organised, and able to manage multiple projects concurrently within tight timelines. Positive, proactive team player with strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management capabilities. Adaptable and responsive in a dynamic event-driven environment. Work Requirements Willingness to work on weekends, public holidays, and outside regular office hours to support events, programmes, and live coverage when required.
