Resident Technical Officer (M & E)

Job Summary We are hiring a Resident Technical Officer (Mechanical & Electrical) for an industrial building construction Project in the Woodlands area. This role requires holding an RTO (M&E) certificate from IES. Responsibilities Supervise site activities to ensure compliance with the Building Control Act and approved drawings Monitor and verify that mechanical and electrical works are executed according to project specifications and standards Collaborate with the Resident Engineer to resolve site and construction-related issues promptly Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to facilitate smooth site operations Coordinate with team members to maintain project timelines and quality standards Required competencies and certifications Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent Registration with IES as Resident Technical Officer (M&E) Minimum 5 years of experience supervising civil and structural construction works Demonstrated communication skills to liaise with team members and stakeholders Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Other Information Contract duration: 1 year Site address: Woodlands Working hours: Monday to Friday – 8.30 am to 5.30 pm | Saturday – 8.30 am to 12.30 pm Probation period: 1 months Notice period: 1 month during probation, 2 months after confirmation Basic salary range: Negotiable
