We are seeking an experienced and visionary Vice President, Product Development to join our leadership team in Singapore. In this pivotal role, you will champion the technical roadmap, drive regional engineering excellence, and lead the successful establishment of our state-of-the-art technical laboratory. Main Responsibilities: Product Development Strategy & Governance: Own the strategic direction, operating model, investment priorities, safety governance, and capability roadmap for product development and the setup of the Singapore technical laboratory. Testing & Validation Leadership: Lead advanced engineering evaluation, product prototyping, validation strategy, and testing lifecycles to improve validation cycle time, technical confidence, and compliance with strict industry benchmarks. Manufacturing & Partner Technical Alignment: Drive cross-border technical governance with overseas manufacturing facilities, laboratories, and OEM/ODM partners to improve supplier technical performance, issue closure, and readiness for regional growth. Technical Roadmap & Quality Assurance: Establish testing methodologies, quality controls, failure-analysis governance, and technical standards that support DSBJ’s global intelligent interconnect, precision manufacturing, and innovation priorities. Executive Leadership & Stakeholder Influence: Lead product development and develop local laboratory engineering teams while influencing headquarters, business units, manufacturing sites, customers, and senior stakeholders on regional technical priorities. Job Requirements: Education: Bachelor’s Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Experience: 10+years of progressive leadership experience, including senior or VP-level accountability for strategy, engineering validation, product testing, quality governance, or precision hardware operations. Industry Background: Proven leadership in precision manufacturing, PCB/FPC, optical modules, advanced hardware, or testing and certification environments. Skills: Strong capability in laboratory governance, validation roadmap development, testing equipment strategy, failure analysis, budget ownership, cross-border supplier management, and cross-functional executive influence. Language: Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is required to support strategic communication with Chinese-speaking stakeholders, clients, headquarters, and overseas business units.
