JOB OVERVIEW Handle customers in assigned Group, responding to customers’ enquiries on services, processing of all shipping formalities, co-ordination with customers, subcontractors, colleagues as well as collaboration with DSV worldwide office and agent networks. To participate and promote GP results for your respective Group. ESSENTIAL DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES Customer Management (50%) Attend to customers inquiries on all service features and ensure proficiency in service features. Study customer’s inquiries and obtain necessary information from various departments to prepare proposal or quotation to customers. Co-ordinate and assist customers in preparing all documents required for shipment, inclusive of information assistance, dispatch documents and special notification related to pick-up and deliveries. Receive calls, investigate and resolve a variety of external and internal customers’ complaints, general queries and invoicing inquiries. Initiate communications, monitor and follow-up closely with customers and internal parties to resolve concerns raised. Operations Management (50%) Obtain shipment information and documentation from customers to make shipment arrangements including booking of space, pick up deliveries and arrangement for special requirements such as out of gauge, dangerous goods, urgent cargoes and arrangement with vendors. Prepare shipment and customs clearance documentation and release accordingly to all relevant parties for cases which require Project specific standards. Perform timely and accurate update of information in the Tradenet system to generate the outward permit for customers. Responsible for the operational co-ordination and execution of job plans with relevant BU operators. Generate and analyze periodic consolidated reports and statistics, where applicable to review jobs to identify areas for improvement; for management review and action; and keep management promptly updated of any major service failure, changes in trends, market intelligence and customer-related information. Perform closing of files Establish operational procedures / guidelines for vendors and contractors to ensure compliance to DSV or customers procedures and requirement. QUALIFICATIONS Ability to communicate cross-functionally within a matrix organization Good communication skills Self-motivated, flexible and resilient High result orientation and customer focus Analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to integrate and coordinate efforts / resources across functions and boundaries Ability to clearly and concisely present both written and oral information EDUCATION AND/ OREXPERIENCE Minimum 5 years of experience in the Freight Forwarding Industry Minimum 2 years of experience in the Oil & Gas / Sea & Air Freight Forwarding industry Possess literacy in MS Office Possess literacy in Dangerous Goods cargoes Project and time management / time allocation and organizational skills Strong planning, analytical, customer-oriented and excellent interpersonal skills
