We are seeking a highly motivated and technically driven Project Engineer (EPD Dept) to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and realizing customized engineering projects across various industries while ensuring manufacturability, quality, and customer satisfaction. You will play a key role in driving innovation, improving operational efficiency, and providing technical solutions through early customer engagement and cross-functional collaboration ability. The Engineer leads & drives innovation, improve efficiency and suggests technical solutions for customers by early involvements and thereby contribute to the company’s growth and competitiveness in the market. Responsibilities: Support the Sales Team during RFQ activities by providing technical expertise, identifying manufacturing constraints, and conducting feasibility studies when required. Assist in researching and identifying new manufacturing processes and qualified suppliers. Lead DFM (Design for Manufacturability) and engineering discussions with customers for new High Pressure Die Casting programs, including secondary and post-casting processes. Review customer product designs and specifications to identify project development risks and implement mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate with the Advance Quality Engineer to develop Quality Control Plans. Develop and manage project timelines from initiation through completion, ensuring timely updates to customers and internal stakeholders. Coordinate and lead project activities to enhance manufacturing capabilities, operational efficiency, and delivery schedules. Chair project kick-off meetings, communicate APQP requirements, and coordinate responsibilities across internal departments. Oversee the design and fabrication of tooling, jigs, and fixtures while ensuring alignment with project schedules. Requirements: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical / Precision Engineering or equivalent. Min 2 year’s relevant experience in a metal stamping, plastic injection moulding or die casting company will be an advantage. Strong understanding of DFM, APQP, quality planning, and project management methodologies. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a cross-functional environment. Proficiency in engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
