Quantity Surveyor Manager

Key Responsibilities Lead the QS team, coordinate and oversee team performance Oversee all aspects of QS processes Ensure quality of QS works and compliance with relevant legislations Coordinate preparation of project budgets and cost estimates Oversee contract management of variation works Oversee contract administration including final completion, statutory completion and final cost reports Oversee contract documentation and maintenance of database Review and approve payment certifications Conduct project audits Review schedule of rates and build up star rates Compile half-yearly tender rates and price information Strong knowledge of contract administration and construction cost management Familiarity with standard forms of contracts, valuation of variations, and handling contractual disputes Able to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently Requirements Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Science, Project Management or equivalent. Minimum 5-8 years of relevant QS experience in construction, maintenance, A&A, or estate upgrading projects Experience in public sector or town council projects will be an advantage Able to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently Membership with SISV or other relevant professional bodies will be an advantage
