Project Engineer (PLC/SCADA)

About the role This is a position with a leading Industrial Automation & SCADA Solutions Provider (System Integrator). The role involves managing preventive and corrective maintenance activities for PLC, SCADA, RTU, server, workstation, and network systems. Key responsibilities Manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities for PLC, SCADA, RTU, server, workstation, and network systems. Perform system upgrades, firmware updates, patch management, database backup, and disaster recovery testing. Investigate and resolve system faults, alarms, communication issues, and equipment failures. Coordinate with customers, vendors, telecom providers, and internal teams to ensure timely issue resolution and SLA compliance. Support project implementation, testing, commissioning, and system enhancement works. Prepare technical documentation, method statements, risk assessments, testing reports, and handover documents. Conduct system health checks and recommend improvements to enhance reliability and performance. Participate in maintenance planning, project meetings, and technical discussions with stakeholders. About you Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or related disciplines. Experience in PLC, SCADA, RTU, Industrial Control Systems (ICS), or automation projects.
