Machine Operator Cum Technician

Job Description Operate, set up, and monitor chocolate production and packaging machines. Perform machine start-up, changeovers, adjustments, and shutdown procedures. Troubleshoot machine faults and carry out minor repairs to minimize production downtime. Conduct preventive maintenance and assist with major maintenance when required. Ensure machines operate safely and efficiently to meet production targets. Inspect products and equipment to ensure compliance with quality standards. Maintain production records, machine logs, and maintenance reports. Clean and sanitize machinery and work areas in accordance with food safety and hygiene requirements. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, and workplace safety regulations. Job Requirements Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, or a related field. Experience operating or maintaining manufacturing or food-processing machinery is preferred. Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. Ability to troubleshoot equipment problems and perform preventive maintenance. Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety practices is an advantage. Able to read and follow technical drawings, machine manuals, and SOPs. Willing to work shifts, weekends, and overtime when required. Physically fit, safety-conscious, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
