Job Summary You will conduct engaging lessons for Primary, Secondary and Junior College students, aligned with the MOE syllabus, while mentoring and motivating learners to achieve their best. This role involves adapting teaching methods, monitoring progress, and collaborating with parents and staff to enhance student outcomes. Responsibilities Conduct engaging lessons for Primary, Secondary and/or Junior College students in assigned subjects to foster understanding and interest Prepare and deliver high-quality lessons aligned with the MOE syllabus to ensure curriculum standards are met Mark assignments, assessments, and examinations promptly to provide timely academic feedback Monitor students’ academic progress and provide personalised feedback to support individual learning needs Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities for effective knowledge transfer Build positive relationships with students to motivate and encourage their academic and personal growth Communicate professionally with parents regarding students’ progress and areas for improvement to foster collaboration Prepare lesson materials, worksheets, and teaching resources to support lesson delivery and student engagement Maintain classroom discipline and foster a positive, respectful learning environment conducive to student success Support curriculum development by contributing new teaching ideas to enhance educational content and delivery Assist in centre operations, student enrolment events, and academic workshops as needed to support organisational goals Participate actively in staff meetings and professional development sessions to continuously improve teaching skills Preferred competencies and qualifications Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree (Education or relevant discipline preferred) Strong academic results in the subjects taught Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage students and collaborate with parents and colleagues Passion for teaching and nurturing young learners with patience, responsibility, and proactivity Comfortable teaching small-group classes to provide focused attention Prior tutoring or classroom teaching experience is advantageous Fresh graduates with strong academic backgrounds are welcome to apply Preferred Subjects Primary: English, Mathematics, Science, Chinese Secondary: English, E-Math, A-Math, Science (Physics/Chemistry/Biology), Chinese Junior College: GP, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Economics Other Information Working Hours 5-day work week (including weekends) Weekdays: Afternoon to evening classes Weekends: Morning and afternoon classes One weekday off What We Offer Competitive salary with performance incentives CPF contributions and annual leave Structured training and mentorship Teaching resources and curriculum support Career progression opportunities (Senior Tutor / Academic Lead / Centre Manager) Positive and supportive work environment Opportunities to develop curriculum and teaching materials
