Assembly Technician

Responsibilities: Perform machines assembly and modification, debug and test run according to required specifications, drawings and work instructions Able to perform PP and Aluminum profile cutting base on the released Mechanical drawing. Able to perform PP welding base on the required specification especially on Tank welding. Set up and calibrate machines to meet desired specifications Conduct QC checks on mechanical parts and electrical components Install, test and commission new machines at customers’ sites Assist Engineers in problem-solving, troubleshooting, maintenance and repair Support Engineers in R&D activities to develop new machines Ensure good housekeeping and safe working environment in assembly workshop Perform other technical tasks as assigned by Management Able to read mechanical /electrical drawings is an added advantage Perform 6S + Housekeeping in working area or production floor. Requirements: NITEC, Higher NITEC or Diploma in any Engineering discipline Preferably with minimum 2 years’ working experience in machines assembly Candidate without relevant experience but keen to learn will also be considered Organized, responsible, hardworking and able to work independently Strong team player and hands-on person with good trouble-shooting skills Able to work under tight schedules and meet assembly deadlines Able to work overtime and weekends when required Preferably know and have knowledge or experience in Gas and electric welding.
