Company Name: Edulab Academy Employment Type: Freelance / Part-Time Work Location: Orchard Expected Commitment: Min. 1–2 sessions per week per student, for 1-2 years Remuneration: $70 – $100/hour (commensurate with experience) Job Description We are seeking experienced and passionate IBDP Chemistry tutors to join our team on a freelance or part-time basis. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the IBDP Chemistry curriculum , strong familiarity with Singapore-based IB schools (e.g., ACSI, SJI, SOTA), and a proven track record of guiding students toward excellence. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality 1-to-1 or small group lessons for IBDP Chemistry (SL/HL) Provide targeted support for exam revision, IAs and Exended Essays Guide students in understanding economics key concepts Mark and review students' essays, class practice, and other internal assessments Adapt teaching approach based on student needs and school-specific syllabus pacing Help students understand and apply IB exam rubrics and criteria Track student progress and provide feedback to parents if required Requirements Minimum 5 years of IBDP Chemistry teaching/tutoring experience Familiar with syllabi taught at schools like ACSI, SJI, SOTA, etc. In-depth knowledge of IB assessment rubrics and frameworks Proven success in helping students achieve Level 6–7 grades Excellent command of written and spoken English Responsible, responsive, and able to commit consistently Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Education, or relevant fields preferred Preferred MOE-trained or IB-certified teachers highly valued Familiarity with IAs and EE in local IB schools What We Offer Flexible scheduling based on your availability Reliable stream of motivated students Administrative support from our in-house team Competitive hourly rates Opportunities for long-term collaboration
