Eigen Energy is a systems integrator for solar energy and electric vehicle charging infrastructure. Our technical competencies span engineering and construction, energy management, software engineering, and cross-platform integration. We're looking for a Procurement Executive who can do more than run a purchasing desk — someone who can design, build, and continuously improve the processes that keep our procurement and supply chain running smoothly. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, you'll own both the day-to-day purchasing function and the systems and workflows behind it, helping us scale as the business grows. What you'll do: Plan procurement around the project pipeline — know what to buy, when to commit, when to hold — and centralise buying to capture bulk savings without over-stocking Build a material consumption model (usage per MWh across solar, EV charging, and battery storage) and use it to get ahead of demand Track total landed costs and work with Finance to code purchases to projects Source and negotiate with local and overseas suppliers for the best terms — no single point of failure on anything critical Assess quotes on more than price; understand the tech, from solar modules and inverters to EV chargers and BESS components Run day-to-day purchasing (POs, deliveries, chasing late suppliers), resolve supply and invoice issues, and own the annual ISO vendor review Keep stock lean — JIT where possible, safety stock only where it earns its place — and clear slow-moving or obsolete stock before it's a write-off Track materials at project level (used, on hand, committed) and give the team live visibility on stock levels, reorder points, and consumption rates Handle warehouse accounting and regular audits Document how procurement works — sourcing to PO to delivery to invoice — and make it stick Spot what's broken and fix it Own the procurement section of our ISO system: write SOPs, keep them current, stay audit-ready What you'll need: A Diploma in Supply Chain or a related field A process-oriented mindset — you naturally look for better, cleaner ways of doing things and can turn them into repeatable systems A responsible, self-driven approach with strong multitasking ability A working understanding of goods receiving, sales, purchasing, quotation, and inventory procedures Confidence with Excel, ERP systems, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Clear verbal and written communication skills Nice to have: 2+ years of experience in supply chain or logistics, ideally with exposure to process design or improvement Experience working in a construction company Familiarity with process-improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma, or similar) Strong analytical and project-management skills
