About this role

Element has an opportunity for Instrumentation Engineer for Singapore. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for assisting in designing, planning, and coordinating geotechnical instrumentation projects, scheduling control, obtaining permits for on-site installation, and setting up and commissioning monitoring This will be a site based position in Singapore Core Responsibilities Plan and implement geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring systems for construction projects. Review project specifications, drawings, and monitoring requirements. Select suitable instruments based on project needs and ground conditions. Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of monitoring instruments. Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and survey teams during installation. Ensure instruments are installed according to manufacturer specifications and project standards. Monitor and verify data collected from field instruments. Analyze monitoring results and identify abnormal trends or movements. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly monitoring reports. Issue alerts when monitoring readings exceed predefined trigger levels. Troubleshoot malfunctioning instruments and coordinate repairs or replacements. Manage automated monitoring systems, data loggers, telemetry, and cloud-based monitoring platforms. Maintain calibration records and equipment inventories. Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality (HSEQ) requirements. Support tender preparation by developing instrumentation proposals and cost estimates. Train site personnel on monitoring procedures and instrumentation best practices. Skills / Qualifications Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the PE Board along with 3 years relevant experience in major infrastructure projects Working experience in geotechnical instrumentation and site investigation works Self-motivated team player with excellent organisational and communication skills HOW TO APPLY: Interested applicants, please submit your updated resume to connie.lim@element.com Please state your availability, current & expected salaries for processing purpose.
