Job Description We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to support the administration, maintenance, and operation of enterprise IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of servers, operating systems, and network infrastructure while providing operational support for production environments. Key Responsibilities Administer and maintain Windows and Linux servers, operating systems, and infrastructure components. Monitor infrastructure health and respond to incidents to ensure high system availability. Manage and maintain network devices, including switches, firewalls, and load balancers. Perform server patching, system upgrades, troubleshooting, and configuration changes. Support backup, disaster recovery (DR), and business continuity processes. Assist with infrastructure capacity planning, performance monitoring, and optimization. Maintain accurate documentation of infrastructure configurations, operational procedures, and runbooks. Collaborate with application, project, and security teams to support infrastructure onboarding and project deployments. Provide production support and participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours incident response when required. Follow operational procedures, security standards, and service level agreements (SLAs). Requirements Education Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline. Experience At least 2 years of experience in IT Infrastructure, System Administration, or Infrastructure Operations. Hands-on experience administering Windows and/or Linux servers. Experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure and production environments. Experience with infrastructure monitoring, incident management, and troubleshooting. Technical Skills Windows Server and Linux Administration. Server patching, upgrades, and system maintenance. Network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, and load balancers. Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). Infrastructure monitoring and production support. Backup and Disaster Recovery (DR). Incident response and root cause analysis. Preferred Skills Familiarity with virtualization or cloud infrastructure is an advantage. Experience working in enterprise or managed services environments. Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Willingness to participate in on-call support when required.
