Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities Plan, coordinate and supervise mechanical tool installation activities to ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, project schedule and client requirements. Review engineering drawings, construction documents, technical specifications and vendor information to ensure constructability and compliance with project requirements. Prepare and coordinate technical submissions, shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, work procedures and other engineering documentation for client approval. Coordinate material procurement, fabrication schedules, equipment deliveries and site logistics to ensure construction activities are adequately supported. Monitor site progress, identify technical issues or construction constraints, and work closely with the Construction Manager to develop practical engineering solutions. Coordinate installation interfaces with other disciplines including process piping, HVAC, electrical, instrumentation, process exhaust and equipment vendors to minimize work conflicts. Ensure installation activities comply with approved engineering documents, project specifications, cleanroom requirements and applicable industry standards. Provide technical support to Site Supervisors and installation teams, ensuring proper interpretation of drawings and installation requirements. Assist in project planning, progress monitoring, productivity analysis and preparation of weekly and monthly project reports. Support inspection activities, testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning and system start-up by ensuring all engineering deliverables and technical documentation are complete. Prepare as-built drawings, operation and maintenance documentation, and turnover dossiers for project handover. Minimum Qualification: Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering discipline. Recommended Experience: Minimum 3–5 years' experience in mechanical construction, preferably in semiconductor, pharmaceutical or other high-technology industrial projects.
