Day Surgery Recovery Nurse (Private Healthcare / Central)

Working hours: 5.5 days work week, office hours Location: Farrer Park Key Responsibilities Manage patient admission / transfer / discharge procedures. Perform perioperative assessment of patient for surgery / Endoscopy procedure. Receive immediate post-procedure patient in recovery, assess status and provide appropriate care. Vital signs monitoring (Temp, HR, RR, SPO2). Demonstrates proper airway management techniques. Recognizes signs and symptoms of patient’s condition that indicate potential post procedure or anaesthesia related complications and report to anaesthesiologist immediately. Requirements Diploma or Degree in Nursing and SNB registered. Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in recovery room, surgical ward, ICU, acute care or PACU (post-anesthesia care unit) ward Strong technical competence with the ability to work independently.
