Roles & Responsibilities Core Quality & QMS Governance System Ownership: Establish, execute, and sustain rigorous site-wide quality standards, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and quality control mechanisms. Testing & Inspection: Oversee the development and deployment of technical standards, validation methods, and testing procedures to thoroughly evaluate product precision, accuracy, and engineering reliability. Technical Authority: Serve as the final sign-off authority for product acceptance testing, custom quality plans, and critical technical documentation. Change Management: Take full ownership of comprehensive customer change management frameworks (ECN/PCN) and operational qualification activities aligned with cross-border regional expansion. Audits & CAPA: Lead robust internal product, process, and system audits while driving rapid, data-driven corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to mitigate production variations. Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) Leadership Safety Integration: Actively support, participate in, and enforce site-wide EH&S regulations, programs, and policies. Risk Mitigation: Perform proactive workplace risk assessments, hazard identifications, and implement prompt corrective measures for work activities. Incident Management: Maintain strict incident reporting workflows covering near-misses, spills, or hazardous conditions, and actively participate in compliance inspections. Continuous Improvement & People Management Operational Excellence: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to systematically eliminate waste, optimize production costs, reduce errors, and scale assembly floor productivity. Team Leadership: Select, mentor, upskill, and evaluate a high-performing department of technical specialists, engineers, and quality inspectors to foster an uncompromised quality culture. Job Requirements Academic Foundation: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a highly related technical manufacturing discipline. Professional Longevity: Minimum 10 years of total quality and/or engineering experience inside a high-tech manufacturing plant. Leadership Timeline: At least 5 years of verified experience in a formal management or people-leadership role. Industrial Environment: Direct operational competency within a High-Mix, Low-Volume (HMLV) production ecosystem; prior exposure to the semiconductor capital equipment or complex mechatronic systems sector is highly preferred. Core Tool Proficiency: Advanced mastery of structured quality tools, including 8D problem solving, Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, and Statistical Process Control (SPC) . Soft Skills: Elite presentation, technical writing, and stakeholder communication skills, with a proven track record hosting intensive external customer audits and managing customer feedback.
