Job Summary This full-time, on-site Legal Executive role supports lawyers in civil, commercial, and family matters by preparing legal documents, conducting research, coordinating with clients and courts, managing case timelines, and assisting with hearings and meetings while ensuring confidentiality and compliance. Responsibilities Prepare, draft, format, and review legal documents and correspondence to support case management Organize and maintain case files and records accurately to ensure easy retrieval and compliance Conduct basic legal research and prepare summaries to assist lawyers in providing informed legal advice Coordinate communication and scheduling with clients, courts, and external parties to facilitate case progress Manage case timelines and monitor progress to meet deadlines and procedural requirements Assist with administrative tasks related to hearings, mediations, and meetings to ensure smooth operations Maintain confidentiality and adhere to legal and firm procedures in handling sensitive information Collaborate effectively within a team environment to support legal service delivery Required competencies and certifications Relevant diploma or degree in law or legal studies, or equivalent qualification Preferred competencies and qualifications Strong foundation in Law, with exposure to civil, commercial, and family matters Proficiency in legal document preparation, including drafting, formatting, and reviewing documents Ability to support provision of legal advice through research, preparation of summaries, and organizing case information Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines Clear written and verbal communication skills with a client-focused and professional approach Comfort working in a collaborative team environment and handling confidential information responsibly
