About this role

The Product Manager (FIT) is responsible for developing, sourcing, pricing, and maintaining competitive Free Independent Traveller (FIT) travel products. The role involves close collaboration with airlines, hotels, destination management companies (DMCs), tourism boards, and internal sales teams to ensure attractive, market-driven travel packages that meet customer demand and achieve sales targets. Product Development Research and develop FIT travel packages for assigned destinations. Source competitive airfares, hotels, transfers, attractions, rail products, cruises, and land arrangements. Negotiate competitive rates and exclusive offers with suppliers. Create seasonal promotions and value-added packages. Supplier Management Build and maintain strong relationships with airlines, hotels, DMCs, tourism boards, and other travel partners. Negotiate commercial agreements, allocations, and promotional support. Monitor supplier performance and service quality. Resolve product-related issues with suppliers. Pricing & Yield Management Prepare accurate package costing and pricing. Monitor competitors' pricing and market trends. Review margins to ensure profitability. Update pricing based on supplier changes, exchange rates, and market conditions. Product Administration Maintain product information within reservation and booking systems. Ensure package details, inclusions, exclusions, and terms & conditions are accurate. Coordinate brochure, website, and promotional content with the Marketing team. Sales Support Conduct product briefings and training for sales consultants. Provide destination expertise and product recommendations. Assist the Sales team with customized FIT quotations when required. Support travel fairs, roadshows, and promotional events. Market Research Monitor travel trends and customer preferences. Identify new destinations and product opportunities. Benchmark against competitors and recommend improvements. Job Requirements Minimum 2–3 years' experience in a travel agency product role. Strong knowledge of FIT travel products and destinations. Good negotiation and supplier management skills. Strong analytical and pricing abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience with reservation systems is an advantage. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
