Business Analyst, Credit Origination (Banking, 1-Year Renewable Contract)

Key Responsibilities: Act as a Functional Business Analyst supporting projects related to credit origination and early credit warning systems Analyse current business processes to identify AI-driven improvement opportunities Collaborate with business sponsors, product managers, data scientists, and technology teams to translate business needs into solutions Review and validate vendor deliverables to ensure proper governance and quality standards Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies Apply knowledge of: - Associative data modelling - Predictive analytics - Text analytics - Classification techniques - Data exploration and summarisation Develop dashboards and visualisations to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders Ensure AI solution implementation and realisation in line with project plans Enforce governance controls, including transition from human-in-the-loop to automated (human-out-of-the-loop) processes Identify and drive opportunities to tune and optimise AI models to improve accuracy and productivity Key Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field Minimum 5 years of experience in banking/financial services industry Strong understanding of wholesale banking domain, including: - Customer onboarding and servicing - Data marts and data ecosystems Experience in corporate credit origination or related areas is advantageous Solid understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) Basic technical knowledge in: Web applications, APIs, Databases, SQL, Data visualisation and reporting tools Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong communication and stakeholder management skills Good team player with a positive and proactive mindset
